BALLYMENA United make the short trip over Shane's Hill to face Champions Larne on Tuesday evening.
The last time the sides met was in the Semi-Final of last seasons Samuel Gelston's Whiskey Irish Cup at Seaview, United winning 2-0 thanks to second half goals from Craig Farquhar and Douglas Wilson.

After the defeat to Ballymena in the Irish Cup, Larne went on to secure the Gibson Cup with 2 wins, a draw and a defeat.

They were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League at the first qualifying stage by HJK Helsinki, losing 3-2 after extra-time in the second leg. This dropped them down into the second qualifying stage of the UEFA Europa Conference league were they were defeated 7-1 on aggregate by Kosovan side Ballkani.

Their league campaign has started with a 4-4 home draw against Dungannon Swifts and a 2-1 away win over Glentoran, leaving them sitting 2nd in the table.
Ballymena United:
After scoring the first goal of this seasons Sports Direct Premiership, United lost 2-1 to Coleraine on the opening night of the league. On Friday evening United lost their second game to Crusaders going 2 goals down before grabbing a last minute goal by Ryan Waide.

With no points, the Sky Blues are lucky not to be bottom of the table, Carrick Rangers and Glenavon below them on goal-difference.
