A 2-2 draw away to Glenavon followed, before they knocked Harland & Wolff Welders out of the Toals Co Antrim Shield with a 1-0 win away from home. Their last game was on Tuesday night in the BetMcLean League Cup where they sent Banbridge Town packing with a 5-0 home win.
Ballymena United:
With 2 wins and 3 defeats in the Danske Bank Premiership, the Sky Blues will have welcomed the last two games where they beat Newington 2-1 away in the Toals Co Antrim Shield and Ards 4-2 away from home after extra-time.
