Struggling Portadown lost their derby game against Glenavon 1-0 at home on Monday afternoon, and are sitting 11th in the Danske Bank Premiership, 4 points ahead of Warrenpoint Town who have a game in hand, and 1 point behind Dungannon Swifts who also have a game in hand.
Ballymena United:
After a tough start to the season, United were sitting 9th when they last faced Portadown. In the meantime, form has improved and United's win over Coleraine on Monday afternoon took them up to 7th in the table, just 2 points short of the Bannsiders.
