BALLYMENA United travel to Solitude to take on Cliftonville in the semi-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup.
The last time the sides met was at Solitude less than a fortnight ago, Ballymena dominating the early stages of the game before the Reds grew into the game. A single goal from Ryan Curran in the 68th minute was enough to grab the points for Cliftonville.

Cliftonville:
Since the last meeting, Cliftonville have been put out of the Toals Co Antrim Shield, drawing 1-1 at home with Linfield who went on to win the penalty shootout and secure a place in the final against Larne, who beat Ballyclare Comrades 8-0.

They made the trip to Shamrock Park in the league on Saturday where they were held to a 1-1 draw. They remain top of the league, 2 points ahead of Linfield who have a game in hand.

Cliftonville beat Harland & Wolff Welders 2-0 in their opening game of this seasons BetMcLean League Cup, before going on to defeat Ards 4-1 and Portadown 2-1.
Ballymena United:
The Sky Blues have only had one game since the defeat at Solitude, beating Larne on Friday evening thanks to goals from Conor Keeley and Paul McElroy. United remain 8th in the league, level on points with Glenavon, behind only on goal difference.

Ballymena have navigated ties against Annagh United, Crusaders and Linfield to reach the semi-finals.
