Cliftonville:
Cliftonville sit proudly atop the Danske Bank Premiership with 8 wins and 2 draws in the league. Along the way wins have came against Carrick Rangers, Coleraine, Glentoran, Dungannon Swifts, Warrenpoint Town, Larne and draws against Crusaders and Linfield.

The Toals Co Antrim Shield brought ties against Knockbreda, who they swept past 9-0 and Bangor, who were 2-0 ahead after an hour only for the North Belfast side to reply with 4 of their own to secure a place in the semi-finals.

They've had a single tie in the BetMcLean League Cup, beating Harland & Wolff Welders 2-0 and setting up a 3rd round tie away to Ards.
Ballymena United:
Ballymena are 9th in the Danske Bank Premiership with just 2 league wins, a single league draw and 5 defeats. Our latest league outing was last weekend against Portadown with the Sky Blues beating Portadown 1-0 at Shamrock Park. Glenavon sit 3 points ahead of us in 8th place, but with one less game to play.

United were knocked out of the Toals Co Antrim Shield at the quarter-final stage midweek with a heavy defeat to Larne at the Showgrounds.

The draw for the quarter-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup has thrown up either Linfield or PSNI, which is due to be played early in November, the Braidmen securing their place with a 3-2 win after extra-time over Crusaders at Seaview.
