After losing their opening two games in the league 4-2 away to Larne and 2-1 away to Cliftonville, Coleraine remain undefeated since, with wins over Carrick Rangers and Dungannon Swifts, drawing 1-1 at Linfield last Saturday. They sit 5th in the table with 7 points, 2 behind 4th placed Carrick Rangers and level with Crusaders and Linfield, both of whom have games in hand.

They also defeated Bangor 5-0 at Clandeboye Park in the 2nd round of the BetMcLean League Cup and will travel to face Carrick Rangers in the last 16.
Ballymena United:
The Sky Blues have fared poorly in the league, losing their opening two games 2-1 away to Warrenpoint Town and 4-1 at Glentoran. They managed to sneak a late 1-1 draw at home to Glenavon last weekend thanks to a Ryan Waide equaliser. United sit 10th in the league with a single point, ahead of both Portadown and Dungannon Swifts, and 2 behind Warrenpoint Town with 2 games in hand.

A 4-2 win away to Annagh United in the 2nd round of the BetMcLean League Cup set up a 3rd round tie away to Crusaders, and we await the draw for the 2nd round of the Toals Co Antrim Shield after beating Harland & Wolff Welders 2-0 at home.

It's coming up to a year since United beat Coleraine, United winning 1-0 away in October last year. Over the past few seasons Coleraine have, by and large, been very impressive and have ran Linfield close to the Gibson Cup in the past two seasons. They say form goes out the window in derby so let's hope that's the case and we urge any United fans attending the game to be loud and proud of YOUR team - Come On Sky Blues!
