Since the win over Ballymena in February, Coleraine have won 9 games, drawn 5 and lost a single game, losing to Linfield in early April. Their last 2 games have resulted in draws, away to Glentoran and home to the same side. They currently sit 3rd in the league on 59 points, 1 behind 2nd placed Glentoran and 4 ahead of 4th placed Larne.
Ballymena United:
In the same period United have won 6 games, drawn 5 games and lost 5, most recently to Linfield at the National Stadium last Saturday afternoon, goals from Mark Haughey and Shayne Lavery either side of a fine free kick from Seamus McCartan which went straight into the top corner of the net past a stranded Chris Johns. Ballymena sit 8th in the table, with no prospect of finishing in the top six, but still with an outside chance of finishing in the play-off places.
