BALLYMENA United are back at the Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon when they host Portadown in the Danske Bank Premiership.
The last time the sides met was a fortnight ago when United grabbed their first win in a month, Sam Warde opening the scoring for home side, before Seamus McCartan and Ross Redman sealed the points for the visitors.

Portadown got their third win of the season last Saturday with a magnificent 4-1 win over derby rivals Glenavon at Shamrock Park, but were defeated 2-1 on Tuesday evening at the same venue against the same team. They currently sit 10th in the Danske Bank Premiership, 3 ahead of bottom places Dungannon Swifts and 8 behind 9th placed Warrenpoint Town.

As always, this season has proved to be a bit of a roller-coaster ride for the Braidmen, going unbeaten for 8 games before going on a losing streak of 5, and now back to unbeaten in the past 4 which includes 2 wins and 2 draws. On Tuesday night a 2-0 victory at The Oval will have provided a huge boost in confidence, leaving the Sky Blues 7th in the league, 5 points behind 6th placed Cliftonville with 2 games in hand, and level on points with 8th placed Glenavon who have a game in hand.
