Uploaded Monday, 17th Aug, 2020 at 07:37

AS WE have seen on countless occasions ladies have a fair measure of success on Sports Bond.
This week saw Nolene Ervine (A3129) become a £50 major on the agency of Maurice Anderson. Nolene of Fenaghy Park has been a previous major winner. Samantha Crawford was a £10 winner on the agency of her mum Janice Martin and Sandra Bellew (A2775) in Arran Avenue was also a £10 winner on the agency of Brett Thompson. The only male winner and a £50 major winner was Tommy Anderson (A0159) on the Seven Towers agency of Tommy Patterson.

The Jackpot now stands at £500 as the Jackpot numbers of 2, 3, 6 and 19 saw no member with those numbers. Halfway to that magical £1000 where it must be won.
Direct Canvassing
Door to door canvassing took place in Ahoghill, Randalstown and Ballykeel areas this week. It will continue in the same areas next week.
Player Sponsor
Now that the season 2019 is officially at an end the distribution of players shirts to Player Sponsors will begin this week. As with protocol the current sponsor will have first refusal for sponsoring the same player for the season 2020/21. Already we have some new prospective sponsors awaiting allocation. We even have a prospective sponsor called Gibson Glavin all the way from Alberta, Canada! We welcome Gibson to the club and hope he will be with us someday as he has been to the mid Antrim area on a number of occasions.

To become a Player Sponsor register with Brian Thompson on 07831 803970.
