McVarnock and Corbett leave club

BALLYMENA United can confirm that Robert McVarnock and Jake Corbett have left the club by mutual consent.
|
|
|
|
|
|
McVarnock has returned to Newington after making 19 appearances, while Jake Corbett, who had made a single cameo appearance in the league cup, has secured a move to Dundela.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Manager Jim Ervin said 'I was open and honest with the lads and made them aware of the type of squad I wanted to build, and that their time would be extremely limited going forward, but gave both players time to find new clubs to go to. I thanked them both for their services as they were super while they were here and I wish both players good luck in their future careers.'
