FOR THE second week in a row there was not a winner of any value within the Ballymena Town area.
|
|
|
Another feature of this week's winners was that the £10 minor section winners are all members who pay by Standing order. They were Jeremy Mccarthy (B5661) from Antrim, Jordan Millar (A7751) from Broughshane but still working in London and Jackson Minford (A1669) from Ahoghill.
The two major winners this week were both lady members. Maurice Anderson had a £50 major winner with Olive McClean (A7481). Now we were made aware that Olive has had a few personal challenges recently and we hope this win will cheer her up. In Cullybackey Sports Bond agent Julie Moore had a £50 major winner with Gail Spiers (A6285).
The jackpot continues to rise and is £400 for this week when the jackpot numbers of 3, 5, 8, and 23 were not allocated to any member.
So the question is posed will their be a Ballymena Town winner this incoming week? Tuesday's draw will hold the answer. Join Sports Bond now on 07831 803970.

Sports Bond, represented by all its agents and members, send their best wishes to Sports Bond agent Maurice Anderson who has just Started a month long course of treatment for prostrate cancer. However Maurice is in a positive frame of mind and discovered that another patient who has started the same course was none other than Ballymena United legend Bobby Averill. We would ask that all connected with Ballymena United keep Maurice and Bobby in their thoughts and prayers at this time.
A big birthday celebration for Sports Bond member Billy McCartney who turned 94 at the weekend who we believe is our most senior member. Also congratulations to Maurice Gibson who turned 90 last week also.
Happy Birthday to Vonla Wylie who has a birthday on Monday. Vonla is a member of the Wylie family on Sports Bond. Belated birthday greetings to Margaret Boyd of Connor who also had a birthday celebration recently.

First Score

Evergreen Ballymena United supporter Bobby McLaughlin was the First Score winner at Coleraine Showgrounds on Friday evening. Bobby had the winning time of 12 mins when Ballymena United captain Colin Coates opened the scoring for Ballymena. Bobby now has the chance of a double up £60 if he wins again this season after picking up £30 on Friday evening.
Another Ballymena United supporter who had a 12 minutes winning card was Roy McKay of Ahoghill. However Roy's card was for the Irish Cup final. We realised Roy had a claim but hadn't seen him since the final. Roy also picked up £30.
In the Community Shield First Score the winning time was 77 minutes when Palmer scored for Manchester City. As at the time of going to press we have had no claimant. However there are likely to be a few as there was a good distribution. To claim contact Brian Thompson on 07831 803970.
Next First Score will be at Larne on August 15th and there will be a First Score for the Women's World Cup final later in the month.
