BALLYMENA United can confirm that Evan Tweed is to go on loan to Institute for the duration of this season.
|
|
|
|
|
|
We also wish the best to three players as they head out to continue their football development at other clubs and thank all four for their contribution to Ballymena United FC.
|

|
|
|
Tweed joined last summer but endured a stop start season with injuries, making just 6 starts during his time here and a move to Institute will provide the platform for regular game time for the season.

Nathan Clarke moves to Newington - he joined the youth team in 2019 from Ballyclare, progressing through the ranks to make a memorable debut against Dungannon at the end of the 2021-22 season. It proved to be his only senior team appearance as opportunities last season were hard to come by.

George Tipton joins Ards, managed by his father and former Sky Blue Matthew Tipton - he joined last summer having left Portadown. Injuries early in the season meant that most of his 10 appearance took place after the new year, but opportunities were still limited.

Pierce Quigley moves to Moyola Park - joining ahead of a pre-season friendly against Portstewart last year, Quigley suffered a double leg break early in the season for the reserves, but was able to make a comeback towards the end of the season coincidentally in the same fixture re-arranged from the start of the game after the match had been abandoned to allow for his treatment on pitch.
