Mary Frances is off the mark on Sports Bond

WE have mentioned before how many of last year's members who joined through direct canvassing have had success in their first year as members.
|
|
|
|
|
This week another member who was directly canvassed last August, Mary Frances McDonnell (A0752) was a £50 major winner on the agency of Patricia Thompson. So in just under the year she has got all her subscriptions back and some extra. Congratulations to Mary Frances and here's hoping this is the first of many.
Now one of the areas that has enjoyed similar success was Bramber Park where four new members won £50 major prizes in their first year. One of them, Jackie Fullerton (A7796), has had his second win a £10 minor win.
The other major winner this week was on the agency of Alastair Shaw who is enjoying a fine run at the moment. That was Ray Parker (B6860) of Antrim who had a minor win previously some time ago.The other minor winners this week were Jimmy Barr (A9813) and William J Nevin (A2512). Now for William J Nevin it is his second win in a matter of weeks on the agency of Robert Logan in Cloughmills.

Great news for the new season if you are a resident of Cloughmills and a case of back to the future as we have a new agent with Pattons Bar joining our Agent Network. In the early years of Sports Bond there was a very sizeable large agency situated at Pattons Bar and run by Ann Elliot. We are indebted to proprietor Nigel Stewart for allowing an agency to be formed and to Wendy Long more for running the agency. So if you are a patron of Pattons now is your opportunity to join Sports Bond. The bar has quite a few Ballymena United supporters amongst its customers so we know it will prove to be a popular agency.

Our deepest sympathy is extended to Sports Bond member Thomas Gordon and family on the passing of his mother on July 10th.
Birthday greetings to a number of members on the agency of Maurice Anderson. Gary Gordon had his birthday last Friday. Richard McMaster celebrates his birthday on Monday and Noeleen Ervine has a birthday celebration this Sunday July 23rd.
