David Blair and John Murray step down from board

EVERYONE at Ballymena United wish to collectively and publicly express our deepest and sincerest gratitude and thanks to David Blair and John Murray who have stepped down as directors at the conclusion of last season.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Both gentlemen's contribution in time and sponsorship could never be counted nor repaid, not just in the foreground, but significant effort in the background that will not have been seen from the outside. John (since 1987) and David (since 1994) have put almost 67 combined years into directorship here, and having served a lifetime are more than deserving of their retirement.

|
|
|
We know that both men will continue to be long and loyal supporters of Ballymena United and forthcoming with their knowledge and experience to the board of directors and management committee as the club moves forward. The club will seek to acknowledge both David and John's contribution in more appropriate way at the first corporate dinner of the season.
