THIS week saw a welcome return to the winners list for Broughshane agent Sammy Bones.
He had a £50 major win with his Uncle Sammy Kirkpatrick (A4916). Definitely a case of Sam's yer man for Sports Bond.
In Ahoghill at the Paper Rack Sports Bond agent Ann Dickey has a £50 win with Sandra McKeown (B8609). Congratulations to both Ann and Sandra.
Two of the £10 minor winners were in Ballymena and they were former jackpot winner Alan Stewart (A5827) and John Kearney (A2048). While out in Cloughmills Rory McCarroll (A1116) followed up on his £50 major win of a few months ago with a £10 minor win. So far 2023 is turning out to be an excellent year on Sports Bond for Rory.
The jackpot for this week is £450 after the numbers 1, 5, 19, and 27 did not see a jackpot won.

Congratulations to Sports Bond member Tracey Hughes who has just been elected at Ballymena Golf Club Ladies Captain. All at Sports Bond and Ballymena United hope you have a great and successful year.
Congratulations to Sports Bond member John McCallum who ran a very successful table quiz in support of the Ballymena united disability team. We believe a figure in excess of £1200 was raised which was a marvellous achievement. Well done John.
Sports Bond agent Charlie Havelin and brother 'Dixie' were at The Emirates Stadium on Saturday to see Arsenal play Leeds United. Now Charlie is a massive Arsenal fan and Dixie a massive Leeds fan so we appreciate who came home the happier. Such is brotherly love.

First Score
Craig Farquahar scored his first goal for Ballymena United in the Irish Cup semi-final against Larne on Friday night. The goal was recorded on 69 mins. As yet we have no claims at the time of going to press. Unfortunately due to entrance to the ground for Ballymena United supporters only cards were sold at the Rite-Price stand which was unfortunate.
However we have had 3 winners in the Northern Ireland versus Finland. The winning time was 28 mins and all received £30. First was Jimmy Patterson who bought his winning card from Brother Tommy. At the Horse N Jockey Norman Downey was a winner. Our remaining winner was at Charlie's and was a joint ticket between Wilma Smith and grandson Kain. Earlier in the season Kain was bought a Ballymena united shirt by his Grandad Don. Since then Don unfortunately passed recently so we are delighted the young man has a very special shirt. Next First Score will be at Shamrock Park on Friday night.
Last year we had a record First Score for the Irish Cup final. The build up was affected by the actions of Glentoran so promoter Brian Thompson is hoping for another record breaking First Score promotion for this year's final.
