Cliftonville MATCH REPORT

Member to Agent vital to Sports Bond
Uploaded Monday, 6th Mar, 2023 at 08:57

THIS week our two agents that had major winners are unique in that both Elaine Dempster and Sammy Bones were members of Sports Bond and then when approached they became a Sports Bond agent.
As we know the success of Sports Bond is very much down to its agents network.

Sammy Bones a Sky Blue fanatic was a Sports Bond member for a couple of years but when he moved to Broughshane he took up the challenge of becoming a Sports Bond agent to help the club. He now has a growing agency which includes family, work colleagues and the majority being residents of the Commons Estate where he lives. This week he had a £50 major winner with Jason Rock (A5771) which is a first win for Jason on Sports Bond. Congratulations to Jason and thanks to Sammy. Once direct canvassing starts again we hope to increase Sammy's membership.

Similarly, Elaine Dempster was a Sports Bond member for a number of years living in the Adair Estate in Ballymena. When approached to become an agent for that area she did so and has been an agent for around 8 years. She moved to the Cullybackey area some years ago but has continued with her agency. This week she had a £50 major winner with Michelle McAdorey (A2883) and we believe this is a third win for Michelle so congratulations to her. Most of all a big thank you to Elaine for all her work for Sports Bond.

In the £10 minor section this week there was another win for Tracey McCloskey (A6457) who pays by standing order. Margaret Logan (A4554) was a £10 winner on the agency of Maurice Anderson and Ian Dickey (A9472) was a £10 winner on the Development Committee agency.

No jackpot was won with the numbers 8, 20, 24, and 26 and the jackpot rises to £250 for this week.
