Clean sweep for lady members on Sports Bond

IT was a clean sweep for lady members on Sports Bond this week. All prizes were won by lady members as girl power was to the fore.

In the £50 major section Tracey McCloskey (A0172) who pays by standing order was a £50 major winner. Tracey lives in Harberton Park where we have quite a few members. The other major winner was up in Ballykeel and was long time member Sandra Bellew (A5873). Congratulations to both Tracey and Sandra.
The £10 minor winners were Annette McAuley (A9622) on the Seven Towers agency of Tommy Patterson. Annette is the wife of Sky Blue legend Sammy McAuley. Also Ann Purkess (A0292) was a £10 winner on the agency of Maurice Anderson. In Randalstown Laura Averill (A2733) was a £10 winner on the agency of Alastair Shaw.
No jackpot was allocated with the numbers 6, 7, 16, and 26 and that has ensured that this week there is a guaranteed jackpot of £1000. What a time to win £1000 with the rising cost of living and less than 3 weeks until Christmas.
Last year at the same time of year Ashley Doole was a £1000 winner. Could Ashley become our first ever double £1000 winner. There has been many £1000 winners but in 21 years we still await a double success.

The winning time in the England v Wales world cup match was 50 minutes. So far we have two winners. Sports Bond agent was the first to claim £30. On Saturday at the game with Cliftonville Ady O'Neill was the second to claim another £30.
The winning time in the England v Senegal world Cup match was 38 minutes as yet we have no claims at the time of going to press.

New Year's Draw

Distribution will continue for this year's draw. First prize is sponsored by Sports Bond and is £200. If won by a Sports Bond member there will be an added bonus of £50. Second prize is a £100 Marks & Spencer gift voucher, while third prize is a £100 voucher sponsored by TM Flooring. Fourth prize is a meal for two guests at the Kitchen and Bar at Galgorm. Tickets are priced at £1 and are in books of 10.
