Carrick Rangers MATCH REPORT

Age no barrier for Sports Bond success
Uploaded Monday, 9th May, 2022 at 08:11

THIS week winners on Sports Bond were separated by 70 years of age. William MCartney (A6856) has been a Sports Bond member for many years and is probably our most senior member at 92 years young.
A retired barber he continued to work till he was 78 an inspiration to us all. We greatly appreciate his support and family members over many years and are delighted that he was a major £50 this week. At the other end of the Spectrum is 22 year old David Johnston (A5892) from Cloughwater. A Sky Blue fan David joined Sports Bond as a standing order payer in October and now has had his first win. We hope he goes on to have many more and a long and healthy life like William McCartney.

Last year Alastair Shaw had Two £1000 jackpot winners. Last week one of them Billy Carnwath was a £10 minor winner and this week his other £1000 jackpot winner Eddie Ingram was also a £10 minor winner. Something quite unique about that. Robert Logan is off on holiday but he had the other £10 winner this week with another win for Alastair Forsyth (A9240).

Still no jackpot recorded with the numbers 13, 24, 26, and 27. This weeks jackpot is £700. The season may be over but Sports Bond goes throughout the close season with Direct canvassing to be undertaken.

If you have a 9 min card then contact Brian Thompson on 07831 803970.

Special mention must be made of Richard Kane. Brian Thompson was looking for somebody to sell first score cards on the Sky Blue Express and Sports Bond member Richard Kane volunteered however Richard collected his first pack on Wednesday and had it sold the next day! He went on to sell an incredible 3 packs which is no mean feat. We have possibly unearthed a star promotion person and Richard will become a leading member of our promotions team. Thank you so much Richard for an incredible performance. Thanks to all those who helped in this most successful First Score promotion.

First Score have another 3 finals to tackle this month FA Cup final, Europa Cup final and the Champions League final. Please support these promotions.
