Cliftonville Match Preview

Janice has more family success
Uploaded Monday, 3rd Jan, 2022 at 08:34

THE old saying 'you spend ages waiting for a bus to come along and then two come along at once' was very true for one Sports Bond agent.
Janice Martin had a major winner with son Gareth Crawford last week and this week she had a major win with daughter Samantha Crawford (B9490). Nice one Janice and very well deserved.

Maurice Anderson had a £50 major winner with Mary Galbraith (A0399) of Dunluce Park. This was Mary's first win in 5 years though she has won 3 times in past years all £50 on Sports Bond so we are delighted for her.

The successful week for lady members continued with a £10 minor win for standing order payer Tracey McCloskey (A4754). Sky Blue fan Alan Young (A1976) was the only male winner this week with another £10 minor win. The jackpot is £200 for the first draw of 2022. No Jackpot was recorded with the numbers 13, 25, 26, and 27.

First Score
A winner has been found for the match with Linfield on December 21st with a 77 minute winning ticket and it was Ivor Roborough. This was Ivor's first win on Sports Bond and he collected his £30 at the game with Coleraine.
New Year Draw
Another hugely successful Draw culminated on Saturday at the match with Portadown. The honour of undertaking the draw was given to Sports Bond agent Margaret Downey. Margaret is one of our National Health Service heroes as she is a nurse in the Antrim area hospital on the front line in the pandemic. Also for the second year in a row she was our most prolific seller of ballots incredibly she sold 16 books this year and was assisting in selling prior to kick off.

Margaret didn't disappoint the Sky blue faithful as she pulled out tickets in the games of some well known supporters.

The winning ticket for the first prize sponsored by Sports Bond belonged to George Stirling (0503). George, proprietor of the Moby chip in Cullybackey, is the player sponsor of Ballymena united captain Leroy Millar. The Moby Chip contributed to the draw by selling 4 books of ballots as they do every year. As a Sports Bond member George also bets a £50 winners bonus and collects a total of £250. Congratulations to George a deserved winner.

The second prize was sponsored by John Pye Auctions, who also contributed by selling 5 books of ballots. The Globe mobile drinks trolley will be collected by Robert Hill (0848) who was the winner of the second prize.

Another well known Sky Blue fan is John Barratt (0691) and he won the third prize sponsored by TM Flooring. John will collect a £100 voucher from Tony McCallum which is quite unique as both are season ticket holders. In fact the four top prizes are all won buy season ticket holders. Fourth prize was won by James Walker (1160) of Randalstown who is off to the Castle Kitchen and Bar sponsored by the Galgorm manor.
