Cliftonville MATCH REPORT

Three in a row for Mo on Sports Bond
Uploaded Monday, 21st Jun, 2021 at 08:46

MAURICE Anderson has not had a major winner for 7 weeks which is unusual for the Sports Bond agent who looks after the Ahoghill, Gracehill and Galgorm area.
However Maurice is back to winning form with a hat-trick of Major wins in the last 3 weeks. Indeed his major £50 win this week was his wife Pamela (A3288). Pamela helps Maurice on his rounds so this will help cover fuel expenses. This last months have been good for Maurice as with a successful hip operation he is now back to full fitness and has ditched his crutch which he had to use for many years which is fantastic. Best wishes to both Maurice and Pamela.

Another lady member was a £50 Major winner and that was Sadie Millar (A0676) on the seven towers agency of Tommy Patterson. Sadie was the wife of the late Maurice Millar a great supporter of Sports Bond. Maurice is still fondly remembered by his many friends within the Seven Towers and Ballymena United so we are delighted with Sadie's good fortune. Completing a trio of lady winners this week was Mary Glass (A3834). Another £10 win for Mary hopefully it's a £50 next time Mary. Up in Ballykeel a first time win at last for John Brough (A1213) and again John we hope it's a £50 next time but glad you are off the mark.

Now holidays look to be curtailed this summer due to the continued restrictions on travel due to the pandemic, however a 'Staycation' could be on the cards with the jackpot at a healthy £700 for this week. Last week the jackpot no's of 10, 14, 23, and 25 were not allocated so the jackpot continues its journey upwards. Join Sports Bond on 07831 803970 and maybe you could be a jackpot winner.
Agents News
All at Sports Bond and Ballymena United were saddened to learn of the passing of Eric McNinch. Eric was a stalwart supporter of the club over a lifetime home and away in good times and bad. He was a Sports Bond member since its inception as a half yearly payer and was a great supporter of United promotions until he fell into ill health. Brian Thompson visited him at the turn of the New Year and found him in good spirits however his health deteriorated Brian commented 'I will remember Eric as he was, a perfect gentleman, and he will be missed by his many friends at the Showgrounds'.

Birthday wishes to Sports Bond members Donald Donnelly of Ahoghill who had his Birthday at the weekend and Jimmy Douglas of Broughshane who celebrates his next Saturday.
First Score
Congratulations to Sky blue fanatic Sammy Bonnes of Broughshane who had a nil-nil winning scratch card for the England v Scotland Euro game. Sammy is a great supporter of Sports Bond and picks up £30.

Also picking up another £30,is Sports Bond agent Alastair Shaw who also had a winning nil-nil card. Alastair was also a First Score winner a few promotions back. Both Sammy and Alastair must have been on tenterhooks till the final whistle! More First Score will happen when the knockout stages are reached plus we hope to have our largest First Score in operation for the final on July 11th.
Direct Canvassing
Direct canvassing was in Gracehill this last week and enrolled new members. In fact in one instance new member Rodney McLintock came up with a suggestion for Sports Bond which made Promoter Brian Thompson think 'now why didn't I think of that'. Thanks Rodney and let's see what happens.
