Tractor boys enjoy sports Bond success
Uploaded Monday, 14th Jun, 2021 at 08:38

NOT withstanding the huge following of Premier league giants such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, over the years other clubs have enjoyed success and were in limelight.
Among these would be Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United. All of these had fans throughout the country. Back in the late 70's and early 80's Ipswich Town were creating history winning the FA Cup in 1978, twice runners up in the league 1981 and 1982 and winning the UEFA cup against AZ Alkmaar. Back in Ballymena they had two big fans who follow them to this day. Step forward Sports Bond agent Maurice Anderson and Sports Bond member Geoff Reid. Both know each other for years but both did not realise each other were Ipswich supporters. This week Geoff (B0352) was a Sports Bond £50 major winner on the agency of Maurice Anderson. Hence the title Tractor Boys enjoy Sports Bond success as Ipswich fans are referred to 'Tractor boys'. Another Mid Antrim link to Ipswich is Broughshane lad Cameron Stewart is now a professional with the club and his granddad Jackie Stewart is a friend of Maurice's. So let's wish Cameron every success in his career and hopefully he can help restore former glories to the club. Meanwhile congratulations to Geoff and Maurice our very own tractor boys.

Agent of the week was David Brown who had a £50 major winner and a £10 minor winner. Both are huge sky blue supporters. Trevor Robinson (C9418) had won a £10 minor prize a few months ago now he has a £50 prize. Doreen Mooney (A0102) along with husband Eddie And kids are also a fixture at the Showgrounds on Matchday and she was a £10 winner this week. Our remaining minor winner was Nigel Robinson (A8759) who, with brother Glen, runs Ballymena Lawnmowers on the Carniny Road. Last year Nigel was a £50 winner and Glen £10. Could a major £50 be awaiting be Glen this year.

A Jackpot of £650 awaits some lucky member this week when the numbers 11, 13, 19 and 23 were not allocated Join Sports Bond now on 07831 803970.
