BALLYMENA United are delighted to announce a new partnership with 360 Football Consultancy that will see the club invest further into player recruitment and development.
The local consultancy firm, led by former Irish League player and manager Brian Adair, will work with the club to develop further in areas of player identification and recruitment, networking and progression both in Northern Ireland and farther afield.
Brian expressed his delight at the new partnership, "I'm delighted we're on board! 360 Football Consultancy will be working to help improve areas both inside and outside the football club and for me personally having the opportunity to work with David, a man who has achieved so much in the game, certainly makes the proposition that much more appealing. We're well equipped in terms of this industry, with links into Ireland, UK and Europe, and as an avid Irish League follower and former player we are very much up to date with the scene in local circles too. Now we look forward to getting going and trying to boost the incredible work that is already going on here and see how we can help shape and improve things for the club."
Manager David Jeffrey was instrumental in forging the new venture, and admitted that even for himself and Bryan McLoughlin it's a new approach to this area of football, "you are only as good as the people you surround yourself with, be it staff, club officials or most importantly the players that come into the club. Player identification and recruitment is massively important, more now than ever before with the well publicised investment in other clubs and full time football. Our challenge is not to get cut adrift so to speak, so going forward we go into this venture with 360 Football Consultancy to see how we as a club can progress.
This is new water for Bryan, myself and the club, but 360 can see what we're trying to do in terms of bringing in young players to develop them as footballers whilst being the mutual beneficiaries of their progression. This is evidenced by the likes of Ben Wylie and Trai Hume, both selected for the Northern Ireland under-21 squad due to the fact that they are playing regularly, being seen and both are there on merit. We're delighted that Brian and 360 have come to help us explore further and we look forward to seeing where this journey takes us."
