Nan wins again on Sports Bond
Uploaded Sunday, 24th Jan, 2021 at 20:03

ANOTHER good week for the lady membership as the major winners were females. For one in particular, Nan Hutchinson (A8473), it was yet another success with a £50 major win.
This was Nan's fourth major success and we believe she has won three £10 minor prizes. This makes her possibly the most successful lady member in terms of winners. Perhaps the jackpot could be her next success. Nan who lives outside Cullybackey has been a member for just over 10 years.

Another member for around the same time is Ingrid Campbell (A0208) who lives in Randalstown and has been a very loyal member. It was great to see Ingrid pick up a £50 winner. Ingrid has had a number of agents collecting and currently she is on Alastair Shaws agency. Alastair, who collects in both Antrim and Randalstown, has now got got a considerable membership in Randalstown.

David Guthrie (A7631) who lives in Ahoghill joined Sports Bond in late Summer has had his first win on Maurice Anderson's agency with a £10 prize. In Antrim Jeremy McCarthy (B5661) was also a £10 winner. So none of our winners this week were from Ballymena town which shows the exceptional work by our agents and support from our members.

No jackpot was allocated with the numbers 2, 5, 7, and 23, ensuring the jackpot for this week would be a very appealing £700 for some member. For you to become a member ring 07831 803970.
Agents News
Sympathy is extended to Sports Bond member Melvyn Lynn who was recently bereaved of his brother Raymond.

Sports Bond agents are always on the go but one is enjoying a new sense of freedom. For years Maurice Anderson was awaiting a hip replacement and could not walk unaided and found difficulty sleeping. His first attempt at an operation was cancelled due to Covid in March. However he eventually had the operation in late autumn and after a period of rehabilitation Maurice can now walk unaided and is absolutely delighted with his new freedom. We all look forward to Maurice walking through the gates of the Showgrounds.

Birthday celebrations for two of our members in recent days Mark Bates and Ian Robinson, both of whom are members on Maurice Anderson's agency.
New Years Draw
Jonathan Anderson who was originally from Ahoghill was delighted to receive his prize in the New Year Draw. Jonathan won the Ballymena Goodie Bag sponsored by the BUFC Development Committee and looks forward to coming home to the Showgrounds some day. For now, he and partner Angela have their time taken up with 9 week old son Matthew. The family live in Broughty ferry near Dundee.
