Lady members first Sports Bond success
Uploaded Monday, 30th Nov, 2020 at 08:29

ANOTHER good week for the ladies on Sports Bond. In fact we believe that for the three ladies in question it is first time success.
Maurice Anderson had a major £50 winner with Gracehill resident Robena Kerr (A0614). Out the road in Ahoghill we had a first win for Susan Smyth (A2036) who only joined a few months ago. Susan is a member who pays by standing order, a group which is growing in numbers. Meanwhile in Antrim on the agency of Alastair Shaw a first time win for Janice Campbell (B7263). Janice completes our trio of lady winners.

Our only male winner this week was Carnduff resident Barry Gordon (A7810) who celebrates a £50 major win. Carnduff Drive has quite a number of Sports Bond members so we are pleased that a win has come to the area.

No jackpot was allocated with the numbers 2, 4, 14, and 22 and the jackpot is £300 for this week.

New Year Draw
This week sees the club's annual festive draw go into distribution. This year the New Year Draw will take place on January 2nd.

We are delighted to have the support of one of the club's most loyal sponsors McCurdy fuels have kindly sponsored a delivery of 500 litres of home heating oil for our first prize. As before Sports Bond are offering £100 as a second prize. Once again a bonus £100 will be given if the winner is a sports Bond member. For the third prize another great Ballymena United sponsor TM Flooring of Mill Street are offering a £100 voucher to spend on their product range. We are delighted to have The Castle Kitchen and Bar from the Galgorm Manor group who are offering a meal for two guests with a bottle of house wine. Many thanks to our good friends at Castle Kitchen and Bar.

There are many more great prizes to be won so you won't be disappointed in the New Year Draw. This year will have challenges in the distribution of ballots due to Covid. Promoter Brian Thompson is urging a super effort by supporters to help raise valuable revenue for the cloud in this difficult period for the club.

Tickets are priced at £1 and there are ten tickets in a book. Support the club.
