Linfield MATCH REPORT

Happy Birthday Sports Bond
Uploaded Sunday, 22nd Nov, 2020 at 21:32

THIS week Sports Bond celebrates its 19th Birthday. Since November 2001 the weekly draw has been a feature of Ballymena United life. Only the coronavirus pandemic saw the weekly draw suspended for 14 weeks.
Over the years there have been tens of winners of the £1000 jackpot. Yet no one has won the £1000 jackpot twice. Over the years there has been hundreds of major £50 winners and minor £10 winners and hopefully there will be many to come.

This week we celebrate the success of one of our great Nursing staff in the front line Linda Boyd (A1920). Linda has been a great supporter of Sports Bond Over the years and this week she was a major £50 winner once again. In fact we believe this to be her third £50 win plus a couple of £10 wins over the years.

Another member who has enjoyed quite a few wins over the years has been Billy Millar (A4799) on the agency of the seven Towers. Billy was a £50 winner this week and continues Tommy Patterson fine run of late.

In the minor section Alastair Shaw had a double success with Michael Matthews (A2867) and Billy McClurkin (A9377). In fact only a couple of months back Michael Matthews was a major £50 winner so he is obviously enjoying being a member.

This weeks jackpot numbers were 14, 16, 18, and 26 and no member won the jackpot which is £250 for this week.

To join Sports Bond as a member contact Brian Thompson On 07831 803970. Or better still become a Sports Bond agent. Most or our agents are agents who are friends and family agents and operate with less than 10 members.
Agents News
Best wishes to Adrienne Watson who underwent surgery on a cataract last week. Sadly the extended lock-down is separating sports Bond of a number of agents in the hospitality sector which has borne the brunt of the restrictions.
First Score
Two well known Ballymena supporters enjoyed the win over Warrenpoint Town at the weekend but both Jimmy Gage and John Kenny were celebrating for another reason. Both only discovered on Saturday that they both had a winning first score card for the Northern Ireland v Slovakia Euro play off. Both had 17 mins card and both picked up £30. Well done to both.
New Year Draw
This years draw is in production and will be released soon. There are a fantastic array of prizes and tickets will be priced at £1. The current pandemic will give distribution of ballots certain challenges but we expect this promotion to be successful.
