Ladies can B successful on Sports Bond
Uploaded Monday, 7th Sep, 2020 at 08:39

ANOTHER good week for the ladies on Sports Bond. However what was unique about the Lady winners this week was that they were all B numbers.
Most of our current memberships are prefixed with the letter A yet this was not what was on the winners roll this week.

Both Major winners were ladies. In Antrim Naomi McNaul (B4905) was a £50 winner on the agency of Alastair Shaw. When Alastair became a Sports Bond Agent many years ago his first Major winner was Naomi and it is great to see her winning again. Back in Ballykeel Philomena McMullan (B3068) was a £50 winner on the agency of Brett Thompson.

In fact Brett was agent of the week as he had both minor winners with Heathe Ogilvie (B5641) and our only male winner this week was Barry Maris (A5990).

The Jackpot continues to rise as the no's 18, 20, 26, and 27 were not allocated and the jackpot for this week is £650.

Join Sports Bond by ringing Brian on 07831 803970 and you could be a big winner on Sports Bond.
Agents News
We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Victor McKeeman, husband of Sports Bond member Mary McKeeman. To Mary and the Family we extend our sincere sympathy and love at this difficult and cruel time. Sports Bond Promoter Brian Thompson said he had spent many great times in their home and Victor was a great chat and story teller. He will be sorely missed by his beloved family and his many friends in the area.

This week Sports Bond agent Maurice Anderson enters hospital for hip surgery. Maurice had a date for the operation back in March but due to the Pandemic the procedure was cancelled. We wish Maurice all the best and look forward to him being active again as he has had some difficult times these last few years.

We have acknowledged the debt of gratitude owed to frontline NHS staff but there are also a host of community volunteers who deserve much praise. One such volunteer is Sports Bond member Iris Smyth. For the past 8 years Iris has been involved in the Good Morning Ballymena campaign. Each week Iris makes around 200 calls to elderly and vulnerable people in the area. The importance of this work during the pandemic can not be understated and we acknowledge and applaud the great work Iris does.
