Scottish success on Sports Bond
Uploaded Sunday, 30th Aug, 2020 at 21:59

AMONGST our membership we have around a dozen members who reside outside Northern Ireland. This week saw a Scottish member win major £50 prize.
Andrew Downie (B0146) From Ayrshire has been a good friend of Sports Bond Promoter Brian Thompson for almost 25 years. In fact Andrew is a very experienced Lottery Promoter in his own right having ran the Ayr United Five star lottery for many years. In February Andrew was a £10 minor winner and now has a £50 major prize. Here's hoping Andrew completes the 'treble' and becomes our first Jackpot winner outside these shores.

Our remaining winners this week were all lady winners. Sports Bond agent Elaine Dempster has relocated to outside Cullybackey but is still running a friends and family agency and this week had a £50 winner with work colleague Liz Graham (A4917). This is Liz first Sports Bond win.

In the minor section Jessica Brown (A7564) daughter of Sports Bond agent was a £10 winner. In Ballykeel Elaine Young (B3214) was also a £10 winner on the agency of Maurice Anderson's. This was the third week in a row Maurice has been in the winners list.

Jackpot for this week is £600 as the Jackpot numbers 6 18 24 and 28 saw no member allocated.
Agents News
We were sorry to learn that Victor McKeeman husband of Sports Bond Member Mary McKeeman has been hospitalised. We send our best wishes to the popular Victor and hope he will be restored to full health and we are keeping Mary in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

We had hoped to have a number of our Bar agents operational this week and were disappointed to have them still in shutdown due to the pandemic. Hopefully this will only be a temporary issue.
First Score
A winner has been found for the Champions League first Score. Hazel Patterson, wife of Seven Towers Chairman and Sports Bond agent Tommy Patterson was the holder of the 59 winning card. Hazel has received her £30 winning prize.
Direct Canvassing
Ahoghill and Antrim saw direct canvassing this last week which is still continuing throughout September, light and weather permitting.
BUFC Face Masks
There have been pre-orders for the BUFC face masks which should arrive towards the end of this week. Don't miss out by ordering yours by calling or texting Brian Thompson on 07831 803970. They are priced at £4 plus delivery/postage.
