Ballymena United and Puma Teamwear announce new partnership

BALLYMENA United are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Manchester based company Puma Teamwear.
The four-year deal will see PUMA supply playing kits, training gear and merchandise via the club shop.
The new home and away shirts will be available to pre-order later this week, as all parties navigate their way through the current COVID-19 restrictions which have impacted both football itself and suppliers to the footballing sector.
Ballymena United FC Chairman John Taggart commented: "We're very happy to have reached an agreement for Puma Teamwear to be our new kit and training wear supplier from June 2020 onwards. We have quickly established a good rapport with their Business Development Manager Martin Ivison, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship with them.
We will be unveiling the new home and away kit very soon, while other items of Puma branded club training wear and leisurewear will be launched later in the summer when the current situation has eased further. We think supporters will like the new look and enjoy the quality of the new range and we are excited to see the new shirts appearing out and about."
Puma Teamwear representative Martin Ivison said "It is certainly an exciting time for both ourselves here at Puma and for Ballymena United. Even through these challenging times we have built up a great rapport with the guys on the Development Committee and are sure it will be a long and fruitful partnership"
Manager David Jeffrey commended the new agreement, there's two vital aspects to team wear - look and feel. Whilst it's important to look professional in training and on the pitch as we represent this great town, how the players feel is also so very important. With Puma we know we've entered into a partnership with a sporting giant, who serve clubs all around the globe, and from seeing and feeling the kit samples we know the quality that we're getting from them. We have to thank our own Matthew Armstrong and Philip Kyle who have worked tremendously hard with Puma to kit us out well, and their efforts are greatly appreciated."
