Match Description: Tommy Wright came within a whisker of winning the County Antrim Shield. Scottish striker had fired Ballymena into the lead at Seaview on 32 minutes. However former United favourite Oran Kearney equalised soon after the interval. Kelbie agonisingly hit the crossbar, as Linfield went onto win the Shield with Glenn Ferguson scoring the winner in the last five minutes. |
