BALLYMENA United host Glenavon in the Danske Bank Premiership at the Showgrounds on Friday evening.
The last time the sides met was in September at Mourneview Park, Glenavon running out 3-1 winners, coming back from a Cathair Friel goal to win with an equaliser from Rhys Marshall, an unfortunate deflection off the boot of Steven McCullough and a late Jordan Jenkins goal securing the 3 points.

Level on points with United, Glenavon have a game in hand, and have won 4 and lost 4 of their league games since the start of November. Just one of those wins have came away from home, last Saturday afternoon when they beat Institute 4-1 at the Brandywell Stadium.

The Lurgan Blues beat Banbridge Rangers 6-2 in the quarter-final of the Mid-Ulster Cup, and Warrenpoint Town 4-0 in the semi-final, setting up a decider against Loughgall.
Ballymena United:
Since the start of November, United have lost 6 league games and managed just two wins, both in the last fortnight, defeating Crusaders 1-0 at Seaview and Dungannon Swifts last weekend 3-2 at the Showgrounds thanks to a late Andrew McGrory penalty.

United also defeated Harland & Wolff Welders 4-0 at home in the semi-final of the Toals Co Antrim Shield, and go on to face Cliftonville in the final in the New Year.
