BALLYMENA United host Glentoran at the Showgrounds in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The last time the sides met was at the Showgrounds in March, Paul O'Neill and Robbie McDaid scoring two unanswered goals for the Glens as United lost their first home game of last season.

Glentoran:
After finishing in 7th place in the Danske Bank Premiership after the split last season, Glentoran went on to defeat Glenavon 4-2 at Mourneview in the semi-finals of the Europa League Play-Offs before losing 2-0 to Cliftonville after extra-time in the Final.

Glentoran have started the season with a 1-1 draw away to Glenavon, a 2-2 draw at home to Coleraine and, last weekend, lost 3-1 to Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park. They currently sit 10th place in the league, 2 points behind United, but it's very early days.
Ballymena United:
The Sky Blues have started the season well, drawing 2-2 away to a tough Dungannon Swifts side in their opening game and beating Larne 4-2 in a cracking match at Inver Park last Saturday. Their midweek game against Linfield was postponed because of Linfield's continued involvement in the Europa League.

United sit 5th in the league table on 4 points, 5 behind leaders Crusaders with a game in hand.
