BALLYMENA United travel to the Faroe Islands for the return leg of their 1st Preliminary Round of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.
United beat NSI Runavik 2-0 at the Ballymena Showgrounds last Thursday thanks to second half goals from Leroy Millar and Jude Winchester, but know this will be a tougher test on foreign soil.
NSI Runavik:
The Faroese side showed a lot of promise in Ballymena and will be confident of getting a result on home soil. Peder Nersveen and Petur Knudsen both fired over in the early stages of the game, and it took a last ditch intervention from Scot Whiteside to prevent Bardur Hansen's cross reaching captain Klaemint Olsen who would surely have scored.

Later in the game Knudsen sent a free kick from just outside the box over the bar of Ross Glendinning, who himself made several crucial saves from point blank to keep a clean sheet.
Ballymena United:
Manager David Jeffrey was glowing in praise of his players after the 2-0 win last week, but was quick to add that the Sky Blues are travelling to the Faroes with no more than an opportunity, albeit a great one. David also spoke to the Runavik manager Gudjon Thordarson, who informed him that he was not overly disappointed to lose the first leg and is confident that his side will turn it around on home soil.

One of the stars of last weeks show and first goal scorer of the night, Leroy Millar, added that it'll be 10 times tougher over there and that the job's only half done.
Match Officials:
Referee: Besfort Kasumi. Assistant 1: Edmond Zeqiri. Assistant 2: Fatmir Sekiraqa. 4th Official: Alban Shala.
Match Information:
Admission to the game if strictly by ticket only.

Kick off is 7:00pm.
With Swedish side Malmo lying in wait in the next round, this is a huge tie which both teams will be very eager to win. The Sky Blues will be vastly outnumbered by Runavik fans but, as always, will make themselves heard. We hope for a safe journey for all supporters travelling to the game - enjoy the game and be loud and proud in support of YOUR team - Come On Sky Blues!
