Since the last game between the sides, 'Stute have won twice - a 3-0 win away to Ards and a 2-0 home win against Dungannon Swifts, and lost twice - a 1-0 defeat at Cliftonville and 2-0 defeat at Linfield.

They currently sit 9th in the Danske Bank Premiership table, just 2 points away from making a relegation play-off spot impossible.
Ballymena United:
United have won 3 games in the same period - a 4-1 home win against Portadown in the Tennent's Irish Cup, a 2-1 league win at home to Cliftonville and a 4-0 win away at Coleraine.

They've lost twice to Linfield, first in the final of the BetMcLean League Cup and second in the league, both games ending in 1-0 defeats. A trip to Crusaders in the quarter-final of the Tennent's Irish Cup was followed by the win over Coleraine and then, on Saturday past, a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home against Glentoran.
