Ards currently prop up all the teams in the league and sit 2 points behind the relegation play-off spot having played an extra game.

In the same time frame United have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 1 league games, along with losing to Linfield in the semi-finals of the Toals Co Antrim Shield and defeating Dundela 3-1 in the fifth round of the Tennent's Irish Cup.
