BALLYMENA United travel to Seaview on Tuesday evening to face Crusaders in the semi-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup.
The last time the sides met was in October when United ran out 3-0 winners with goals from Adam Lecky, Willie Faulkner and Andrew McGrory, moving the Sky Blues up into 3rd in the Danske Bank Premiership.

Crusaders:
Since the game in October, Crusaders have beat Newry City 3-0 at Newry Showgrounds, Ards 1-0 at Bangor Fuels Arena, Institute 3-2 at Seaview, drawn 2-2 against Glentoran at The Oval, and lost 4-1 away to Linfield in the league at the weekend. In cup competition they've defeated Glentoran at The Oval in the quarter-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup and had a narrow 1-0 win over Larne in the semi-final of the Toals Co Antrim Shield.

They've reached the semi-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup with a 4-1 away win against PSNI, a 2-1 home win over Ballinamallard United and a 4-2 win away at Glentoran.
Ballymena United:
In the same period United have won all 8 games, including 4 at home and 3 away in the league, also defeating Ards 1-0 away in the BetMcLean League Cup quarter-finals. The Sky Blues have broken their previous record, winning 10 games in a row in all competitions and sit proudly at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership, 2 points ahead of Linfield.

The path to the semi-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup started with a 5-1 win over Dollingstown at Dixon Park, followed by a 1-0 win over Harland & Wolff Welders at Ballymena Showgrounds in the 3rd round, then a 1-0 win over Ards at Bangor Fuels Arena in the quarter-finals.

Admittance is by ticket only, and Ballymena United supporters will enter via the Shore Road turnstiles.

Kick off is 7:45pm.

If the scores are level after 90 minutes, 2 additional 15 minute periods of extra-time will be played. If the scores are level after extra-time, the match will be settled by a penalty shootout.
The Braidmen will be eager to make the final and give themselves a chance to win the trophy Dungannon Swifts took off their hands with a 3-1 win last season. The Crues will be out for revenge for the October league defeat and will be keen to get their form back on track after a stinging 4-1 defeat by Linfield at the weekend.
