Linfield:
The Blues sit at the top of the league, a single point ahead of United, who had jumped above them last Friday night with a win away to Newry City. Over the past month Linfield have beaten Glentoran in tonight's competition, secured a place in the BetMcLean League Cup semi-finals with a win over Institute, along with 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in the Danske Bank Premiership.
Ballymena United:
It's going to be a very tough ask for the Sky Blues against Linfield, who have found a bit of form recently, although United are now unbeaten in 13 games in all competitions, and have won their last 8, taking them to second place in the league.

Due to United's position in the table and fine run of form, many outside the club, including Linfield manager David Healy, have been claiming that we are league challengers. The Braidmen are keeping their feet firmly on the ground though, with manager David Jeffrey repeatedly stating that a top six finish remains our aim for the season.
