Since the recent defeat at the hands of the Sky Blues, the Glens were dumped out of the BetMcLean League Cup at the quarter-final stage with a 4-2 defeat by Crusaders. On Saturday past, they put in a good performance to secure a draw away to Coleraine.
Ballymena United:
United managed a 1-0 defeat of Ards at Bangor Fuels Arena last Tuesday evening, setting up an away semi-final against Crusaders in the BetMcLean League Cup, before going on to defeat Cliftonville 2-1 at the Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Cathair Friel and Steven McCullough enough to counter a late consolation from Conor McDonald.
