BALLYMENA United travel up the A26 on Tuesday evening for the first derby game of the season against rivals Coleraine.
Coleraine were on a title-chasing run the last time the sides met, and a single goal from Darren McCauley was enough to secure the three points for Oran Kearney's side.

While Coleraine narrowly failed to capture the Gibson Cup last season, they took their challenge to the final day and came within two points of the title winners Crusaders. They did overcome Cliftonville in the final of the Tennent's Irish Cup though to end their season on a high.

So far this season, they've 3 league wins and 4 draws under their belts, leaving them 4th in the table on 13 points, 3 ahead of the Sky Blues who have a game in hand. They've also secured a berth in the 3rd round of the BetMcLean League Cup, thanks to a 2-1 home win over Ballyclare Comrades.
Ballymena United:
United have had an excellent start to their league campaign, losing 2 league games 4-0 at Mourneview Park and 3-2 at Solitude at the weekend, drawing with league champions Crusaders at Seaview, and defeating Dungannon Swifts 2-0 at Stangmore Park, Ards 2-1 at Bangor Fuels Arena and Warrenpoint Town 6-1 in their last game which will have been 3 weeks ago on Saturday, leaving the Braidmen sitting 6th in the league on 10 points with 2 games in hand over leaders Linfield who have 18 points.

They secured a berth in the third round of the BetMcLean League Cup, where they will face Harland & Wolff Welders, thanks to a 5-1 win over Dollingstown at Dixon Park, and are facing the Welders in the first round of the Toals Co Antrim Shield, the date for that game to be arranged after the scheduled tie was postponed due to storm Ali.
