After sacking their manager of 17 months Gary Haveron in February, Ronnie McFall was appointed and they have beat Cliftonville 1-0 and Warrenpoint 5-0 at home, drawn 2-2 with Glenavon at Mourneview Park and 1-1 with Linfield at the National Stadium. They sit 4 points ahead of United and this is their last match before the league splits into the top and bottom six.

They were knocked out of the Tennent's Irish Cup by Coleraine at Coleraine Showgrounds with a 1-0 defeat last Tuesday evening.
Ballymena United:
Over the past 5 games, United have won 3-2 against Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park and 2-1 against Cliftonville at Solitude. They've lost 2-0 to Coleraine and 3-1 to Warrenpoint Town at home, and were knocked out of the Tennent's Irish Cup 2-1 at the Showgrounds by Bluefin Championship side Larne.

If the Sky Blues can overcome Glentoran on Friday evening and Ballinamallard United at home on Monday evening, they'll finish in the coveted top six for the second season in a row.
