BALLYMENA United host Carrick Rangers in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The sides met at the Showgrounds just over a month ago, United coming back to win 3-1 after Eamon McAllister had put the East Antrim side a goal up in first half injury time. The goals for Ballymena came in the last 20 minutes of the second half, Kyle Owens levelling, Conor McCloskey grabbing the lead and Matthew Shevlin securing the points in the 86th minute.

Since the meeting in December Carrick have drawn at home to Glentoran, lost away to Ards, drawn at home to Ballinamallard United, been knocked out of the Tennent's Irish Cup by Glenavon in extra-time at home and, on Tuesday night, lost at home to Linfield. They currently sit 11th in the league, 5 points ahead of basement side Ballinamallard United with a game in hand.
Ballymena United:
In the same period United have lost away to Crusaders, drawn at Coleraine, won at home against Glenavon, had a game at Solitude abandoned at half time with the score at 1-1 and, last weekend, sent Moyola Park out of the Tennent's Irish Cup with a 4-0 win at the Showgrounds.
