Crusaders:
With 14 wins, 3 draws and only 2 defeats so far this season, the Crues are the closest side to table-toppers Coleraine, 6 points behind with a game in hand. They're unbeaten in their last 12 games, stretching back to a 3-2 defeat at home to Glenavon over 2 months ago.
Ballymena United:
This is the start of an incredibly tough run of fixtures over the festive season for United as they face all of the current top 4 teams over the next fortnight. As David Jeffrey pointed out after the win over Carrick Rangers last weekend, United have only lost 1 game in the last 10, but the game against Crusaders will be a huge test.
Away Fans Transport:
Seven Towers Ballymena United Supporters Club bus leaves Henry Street Car Park at 6:45pm.
Match Promotion:
Crusaders are running a "Christmas Cracker at Seaview" promotion, which will include reduced admission for primary school aged children and seniors, curry under the North Stand from 6:30pm and a penalty shootout at half-time for both sides youth teams aged 10-13.
