The teams met earlier in the season at Ferney Park with the visitors winning 3-1 thanks to goals from Leroy Millar, Tony Kane (penalty) and Cathair Friel.
Recent results v Ballinamallard United (all league unless stated):
Ballinamallard United 1-3 Ballymena United, Ferney Park, 23rd September 2017. Att: 282
Ballinamallard United 1-2 Ballymena United, Ferney Park, 25th February 2017. Att: 326
Ballymena United 4-0 Ballinamallard United, Ballymena Showgrounds, 29th October 2016. Att: 744
Ballinamallard United 0-1 Ballymena United, Ferney Park, 13th August 2016. Att: 295
Ballinamallard United:
The last time the sides met, Ballinamallard United had lost 6 out of their 7 league games, grabbing a single point at home to Cliftonville, and sat rooted to the bottom of the Danske Bank Premiership. There they remain, although they have won against Carrick Rangers and drew 1-1 with Warrenpoint Town last weekend, both at home.
Ballymena United:
The Sky Blues have gradually been amassing points in the league, recent wins over Linfield and Dungannon Swifts bringing them to within 4 points of 6th placed Glentoran. Unfortunately it came to a halt last weekend with a 1-0 defeat to Cliftonville at Solitude, though a 3-0 win over Ards in midweek put United into the final of the Toals Co Antrim Shield and will have raised spirits. Unfortunately that game took it's toll on the United squad, with Emmet Friars, Willie Faulkner and Conor McCloskey all picking up injuries.
Match Officials:
Referee: Raymond Crangle. Assistant 1: Richard Storey. Assistant 2: Mark O'Brien. 4th Official: Diarmuid Harrigan.
Match Information:
Admission is payable at the gate.

Kick off is 3:00pm.
With Glentoran facing 2nd placed Crusaders at Seaview tomorrow, it provides the Braidmen with a fantastic chance to close the gap to a single point. Make your way to the Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon and be loud and proud in support of YOUR team - Come On Sky Blues!
