Since their defeat at the Showgrounds last month, Ards have won two games, knocking Glenavon out of the Bet McClean League Cup with a 4-0 home win over Glenavon and sending Linfield to a 1-0 defeat at the National Stadium in the quarter-finals of the Toals Co Antrim Shield. They've lost both their league games in that spell, going down 2-0 away to Linfield and 4-2 at home to Crusaders.

Ards currently sit in 9th placed in the Danske Bank Premiership, 8 points behind United with a game in hand.
Ballymena United:
Since beating Ards last month, United have lost a single league game 4-0 away to Glenavon and knocked Glentoran out of the Toals Co Antrim Shield with a 1-0 win to set up another home game against Ards in a fortnight. A 3-3 draw at home to Warrenpoint Town was followed by a 1-1 draw against Glentoran at The Oval, then a spectacular 3-1 win over Linfield at home last Friday evening.

The Sky Blues now sit 7th in the table, a point ahead of Dungannon Swifts and 4 points behind Glentoran.

Should the scores be level after 90 minutes, 2 x 15 minute periods of extra time will be played. If the scores are still level after the end of the extra time, the tie shall be decided by a penalty shoot-out.
