Limavady United:
Last season seen Limavady United promoted from the NIFL Premier Intermediate League as champions, finishing 10 points ahead of Newry City by 10 points. They had disappointing campaigns in both the Tennent's Irish Cup and Northern Ireland League Cup, losing 2-0 away to Sofia Farmer in the second round of the Irish Cup and 3-0 at Coleraine at the same stage of the League Cup. They did, however, win the Intermediate Cup with a 3-1 win over Linfield Swifts in the final in May.
