IT'S back to the bread and butter of the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday as Ballymena United travel to Ferney Park to face Ballinamallard United.
The latest game between the sides was at Ballymena Showgrounds in October when the home side ran out 4-0 winners thanks to goals from Johnny McMurray (2), Denver Gage and Cathair Friel.

Ballinamallard United:
Since the turn of the year Ballinamallard have defeated Carrick Rangers 2-1 away, Glentoran 1-0 away and Cliftonville 1-0 at home. They've drawn 2-2 away to Dungannon Swifts and 1-1 at home to Glenavon and were dumped out of the Tennent's Irish Cup in the 5th round at Warrenpoint Town, losing 5-4 on penalties after a 0-0 draw after extra-time. They've also lost 2-1 at home to Coleraine and, in their latest game, lost 3-0 away to Glenavon. Currently sitting in 10th place in the league, there's a gap of 12 points between themselves and 11th placed Carrick Rangers.
Ballymena United:
In the same period Ballymena United have defeated Dungannon Swifts 3-2 and Carrick Rangers 3-1, both games at home in the league, losing 4-3 at home to Glenavon, 2-0 away to Linfield and 2-1 to Crusaders at Seaview. They've negotiated their way through the 5th and 6th rounds of the Tennent's Irish Cup with a home win over Cliftonville 4-3 on penalties after the game finished 1-1, and an away win over Harland & Wolff Welders 3-1 after extra-time. Last weekend saw a huge triumph for the Sky Blues, defeating Carrick Rangers 2-0 in the Northern Ireland League Cup Final at Seaview thanks to goals from Allan Jenkins and Conor McCloskey, the side lifting their first trophy under the management of David Jeffrey and Bryan McLaughlin.

Ballymena United currently sit 5th in the league table on 45 points, with gaps of 4 points to 4th place Coleraine and 4 points to 6th place Glenavon.
