BALLYMENA United travel to Shamrock Park to face Portadown in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Portadown currently sit bottom of the table with -6 points after being deducted 12 points for paying Peter McMahon while he was registered as an amateur, although they are currently in the process of appealing the severity of the punishment. So far this season they've won 2 of their six games, losing the other 4. They lost 4-1 to Linfield at the National Stadium last weekend.

United are 6th in the table, having won 3, drawn 2 and lost 2 of their opening 7 games. United have came from behind in their last 3 games to gain a draw and 2 wins, defeating Cliftonville 3-2 at Ballymena Showgrounds last weekend.
