Cliftonville:
Cliftonville sit just a single point behind the Sky Blues in the table, having played a game less. Their start to the season was slow, drawing 2-2 at Ards, beating Glentoran 2-0 at home, then losing 2 in a row against Glenavon and Dungannon Swifts. They've bounced back since then though, defeating Ballinamallard United 2-1 at Ferney Park before making a new club record in their 11-1 victory over Lisburn Distillery in the Northern Ireland League Cup.
Ballymena United:
So far in the league this season United have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 2 games, coming back from 2-0 down to finish level with Dungannon Swifts last Friday night at Stangmore Park. United also came back from 1 goal down to beat Newington YC in the Northern Ireland League Cup to reach the third round.

This Saturday sees the first meeting of the season for the Junior Sky Blues Supporters Club, starting at 2:00pm in the Des Allen Suite. There are two prizes up for grabs at this weeks meeting - a football signed by the team and a 15 voucher kindly donated by Juliano's, Broughshane Street, Ballymena.
