Corporate Lunch Gallery

ANOTHER hugely successful corporate lunch was held at the Showgrounds before the game yesterday afternoon, and we have a few pictures from the event.
The highlight for most was surely the Queen of Comedy, May McFettridge, who had the guests in raptures with her stories, jokes, and a fair sprinkling of wisdom. It wasn't only the audience who were hiding - the caterers had to run the gauntlet for fear of being the subject of one of many wisecracks!
Beware, May is in the building!

Ballymena United Chairman John Taggart was delighted as Paul Malone donated the shirt he wore in the 1981 Irish Cup Final to the Club. It was Sammy McQuiston who grabbed a late goal against Glenavon to win the cup, but Paul Malone was a vital part of the team, bagging 27 goals throughout the season.

The November draw for the "12th Man" fundraising scheme took place with a total of 575 up for grabs. Ballymena United Youth Academy Chairman John Anderson had the honours and made a few United fans very happy, and quite a bit heavier in the pocket! The Club would like to extend their thanks to the committee of the 12th Man, who sponsored the corporate lunch. You can read more about the 12th Man, and even sign up if you wish, by clicking here or by speaking to any of the committee members - Philip Simpson, Matthew Armstrong, Darren Archer or Iain Black.
