Uploaded Sunday, 4th Sep, 2016 at 21:05

FROM major winners to agents, the name that dominated the Sports Bond winners list was Thompson.
In the £50 major winner section it was Willy Thompson (B2754) on the agency of P Thompson. In Ballykeel the agency of Brett Thompson had a £50 winner with Mary Surgenor (C1849) of Inchcolm Avenue, Mary is one of a small band of "C" number prefix still on the Sports Bond membership data. Out in Connor another lady member Ann Whyte (A3840) was a £50 major winner on the agency of Andrew Boyd.

In the £10 minor section there was a unique clean sweep to P Thompson with 3 £10 winners, former agent Luke Gaston (A4455), Billy Gilmore (B6094) and Ballymena legend Alex Donald (A2233).

Still no Jackpot allocated with the numbers 11, 14, 15 and 26 and the Jackpot for this week is £400.
Agent News
It is with regret that we note the passing of two Sports Bond members. Walter McBurney, a long time member of the late John Davison and now Tommy Matthews agency. "Walter was a great supporter of club promotions" noted Brian Thompson "and we extend our deepest sympathy to the McBurney family".
In Cloughmills Dessie Stinson succumbed to terminal illness after a valiant fight. Dessie was a member of Ann Hume's and now Robert Logan's agency. We extend our sympathy to the family circle.
