Ballymena United duo honoured at the 2019 NI Football Awards

KOFI Balmer and Adam Lecky were rewarded for their contribution to the Sky Blues' excellent season at the NI Football Awards tonight in Belfast.
Teenage defender Balmer fought off stern competition from Glenavon's Caolan Marron and Coleraine's Ben Doherty to win the Dream Spanish Homes Young Player of the Year award in front of a packed house of over 400 guests at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Adam Lecky was included in the Uhlsport Premiership Team of the Year after a fine first season at the Showgrounds, but missed out on the top prize of the Danske Bank Player of the Year which went to Linfield's Jimmy Callacher.

Manager David Jeffrey also missed out the BetMcLean Manager of the Year award to his Linfield counterpart, David Healy.
The NI Football Awards is ran in partnership between the NI Football League and the NI Football Writers' Association and celebrates all that is good about football in Northern Ireland.
